ONCE AGAIN, the car park was over-flowing as parents and prospective students came to William Edwards school and sports college at their open evening on Thursday night.
The hall was packed to the rafters as headteacher Steve Munday welcomed the parents and prospective pupils to the school.
After that, they were led by their guides who gave a comprehensive tour of the school where every room was filled with fascinating and dynamic displays.
The school has clearly embraced IT in a big way over the last year and in particular, the use of i-pads as part of the educational experience.
Banks of apple macs adorn the new performing arts areas and history lessons are an interactive treasure trove.
With the new Badminton centre, a jewel in the William Edwards crown, the parents and pupils went away with much to ponder.
Full details of applications are explained by Mr Munday in the film as well as on the Thurrock Council website.
