A Celebration of Banners
St Mary’s in Dock Road Little Thurrock has a fine collection of beautiful banners which the banner group have made in the last few years. They represent significant Christian themes and seasons. To celebrate these banners they are holding a special ‘Songs of Praise’ on Sunday 30th at 6.30pm when all the banners will be on display. The songs and hymns will fit in with the messages and pictures on the banners.
Come and join them to celebrate this visual expression of worship. Everybody is very welcome.
Harvest Festival
Harvest Festival is a way of saying a big ‘Thank you’ for what we have. St Mary’s in Dock Road Little Thurrock is holding a Harvest Festival on Sunday 7th October at 9.30am.
They are collecting gifts of storable food for the Thurrock Foodbank and baby items for Ruth House.
