THE TWO TEAMS in the borough have fascinating draws as they seek to progress through the rounds of the FA Cup.
East Thurrock United are home to Maidstone United. The resurgent Kent team, who were once a League Two outfit.
Thurrock are away to either Concord Rangers or Welling.
The ties are to be played on Saturday October 6th.
Commenting on the draw, East Thurrock boss, John Coventry said: “This will be a tough challenge. You can see by the way that they dismantled Grays Ath.
“They have players who have carved a reputation in the Ryman premier and above. Players such as Paul Booth and Shaun Welford.
“We have got a little bit if momentum now but we will be thorough in our preparation.”
