AT the recent Brentwood Drama Festival ,Thurrock Courts Player Actress Jill Snelling beat talented opposition to win the Best Actress award for her role as Vivien Collings in “Erica and Me”.
Adjudicator for the festival John Scowen said “ Its such a hard task to choose a winner as this year the standard was particularly high, but Jill’s performance warmed everyone, especially the visiting dignitaries.
Jill was delighted with the award as she had been nominated several times before in other festivals but this was the first time she had clinched the award.
Jill can next be seen on stage next week(OCT 11-13) at the Thameside Theatre in “A Tomb with a View”
