FIVE male and female students from years 7 to 13 are competing for a cash prize of up to £2000 in the Mardi Gras competition at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London on Saturday 10th November.
The students performing are trained in a number of dance styles from contemporary to hip-hop to ballroom.
The five-minute piece is a mixture of dance styles and shows off the dancers amazing skill and expertise.
The dancers have been rehearsing the piece since returning to school in September and look forward to performing in front of friends, family and professional dance judges.
YT went to visit the dancers in rehearsal as they continue to develop the piece under the watchful eye of their teacher, Michelle Choate.
