A YOUNG woman has been found safe and well after an incident in which she was abducted from an address in south Essex.
Police were called to a property in Grays shortly before midnight on Monday November 5 following reports of a burglary. Officers later established that a group of men had forced their way into the house, assaulted a man and abducted a woman.
Following investigations led by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate and West Midlands Police a woman was found in Birmingham.
A number of people from the West Midlands area were arrested this afternoon and currently in custody in the Birmingham area.
