A STANFORD-LE-HOPE man was arrested following a daylight attack in Corringham Town Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to St John’s Way, Corringham at just after 1.30pm on Tuesday (November 13th).
A man was found there with facial injuries. He was conveyed to Basildon hospital where he was described as in a stable condition.
Later that afternoon, police stopped a BMW in the Pitsea area, where they arrested a 22-year-old man from Stanford-le-Hope.
He is still in detention at Grays police station.
Police are continuing to look for three other men who may be responsible for the attack.
