Thurrock 4 v 0 Kingstonian
WITH three first half goals Wanadio (7) Paxman (28) and Honesty (45) Thurrock were always dominant. Looking at the league table perhaps Kinstonian thought the visit would be an easy task, but anyone who had seen Thurrock in recent weeks new that their league position did not reflect their performances on the pitch.
Early in the second half Ben Smith added a fourth and Charlie Stimson smashed a shot against the bar as Thurrock continued to find holes in the Kingstonian defence.
David Hughes in the Thurrock goal also had to keep his focus as he pulled off three fine saves all from close range.
At the final whistle a well deserved three points was added to Thurrock’s tally as they start their tough task of moving up and away from the foot of the table.
