A FILM starring Timothy Spall and Juliet Stevenson will launch sixteen days of activism against gender violence in Thurrock.
The film plots the journey of Waris Dirie (played by Liya Kebede) from a nomadic pastoralist background in Somalia to a new life and career in the West as a fashion model and activist against female circumcision.
The film will be shown at 2.30pm on Sunday November 25th at the Thameside Theatre in Grays.
