A SPRINKLER system saved the day after a fire broke out at a retail outlet in South Ockendon.
The fire happened at 2.15pm on Monday December 10th in Arisdale Avenue, South Ockendon
Firefighters were called to a retail distribution centre after a fire broke out in an industrial heater.
On arrival, the incident commander reported that an automatic sprinkler system had extinguished the fire.
Crews used a thermal imaging camera to make sure the fire was fully extinguished.
