ELECTED school councillors in years 2-6 from Aveley primary school and year 6 from the Gateway primary free school visited the Mayor of Thurrock with their head teachers in the council chamber last week.
The Mayor gave them a talk about Thurrock Council and they asked questions through the microphones.
The school councillors meet on a weekly basis to discuss topics such as school equipment, and improving lessons
