THE OLYMPIC legacy takes many forms but one of them may be part of the Olympic park becoming part of a Thurrock primary school.
A planning application was submitted last month (Dec 2012) for the re-location of the BMW Olympic Pavilion into the grounds of Manor Primary School in Dickens Avenue, Tilbury.
If permission is granted the pavilion will be used as a multipurpose hall, school reception, administration and as a flood refuge for the pupils and staff of Manor School.
The temporary pavilion, sat next to the main entrance for the Aquatics Centre in the Olympic park.
It is due to be removed from the Olympic Park in January.
