Royal Opera House needs men!

THE Royal Opera House Thurrock Community Chorus invites men from across Thurrock to find their voice at a special Men Only taster session on Monday 21 January at 7.15pm in the Barns on the High House Production Park in Purfleet.

If you have ever seen Gareth Malone’s singing plumbers and thought you would like to sing too, or if you would like a new hobby and some new friends, come along to the taster session and meet some of the Thurrock Community Chorus members.

Perhaps you have been told you can’t sing? The Royal Opera House wants to prove you can. The Thurrock Community Chorus is open to everyone. No previous singing experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and an enthusiasm to join in.

The Men Only session on Monday 21 January offers all men from across Thurrock the opportunity to discover the joy of singing. Led by a professional Chorus Director, Jeremy Haneman, the Thurrock Community Chorus is a dedicated group of local people who love to sing. It has gone from strength to strength over the last two years since it began, performing at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and regularly across Thurrock . It now has over 120 members. It recruits only a couple of times a year and now needs to add some bass and tenor voices to its ranks.
