THURROCK sports clubs have a chance to get their hands on some Olympic Legacy Funding at a free event on Wednesday 17 April at 7pm at the Thameside Theatre, Grays.
There will be a presentation by Dr David Sollis, Regional Director of Sported – the UK’s leading sport for development charity – to find out how your club can get help.
Sported is a free-membership organisation providing small grants of up to £2,000 and business support and funding for larger scale programmes.
The organisation helps transform the lives of disadvantaged young people aged 11 to 25 and support community and voluntary sports groups and projects.
So if you’re a Thurrock sports club or group, check out the sported website http://www.sported.org.uk/ and then come along to the free event.
There will also be an opportunity to talk to and hear from Thurrock Council’s external funding officer on other funding options.
No booking is necessary but if you do plan to attend it would be helpful if you could notify the organisers in advance by emailing email@example.com
