Mayor of Thurrock, Cllr Yash Gupta, visited the Gravesend lifeboat station in April.
Joined by the Chairman of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute Thurrock Branch, Cllr Gerard Rice, the mayor met members of the committee and lifeboat staff who demonstrated how the vessel operates.
The visit is an annual event for the mayor and this year happened on Thursday, 18 April.
