FIRE CREWS using specialist cutting equipment freed two casualties trapped in their vehicle following a road traffic collision.
The incident happened an Baker Street, Orsett at the Stanford Road junction at 6.20pm on Saturday (May 18th).
Crews had to remove the roof of the vehicle so that the casualties could be removed safely.
They were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
The incident involved two vehicles, though (according to the Fire service) the second vehicle did not stop.
The incident was dealt with by 19:16 hrs.
