Luxury liner visits port of Tilbury

SEABOURN Sojourn, one of Seabourn’s three 450-passenger ultra-luxury small ships, made its maiden call at the Port of Tilbury last week.

Throughout 2011 and 2012, the International Cruise Terminal at Tilbury saw 35 home port calls with a total of close to 50,000 guests passing through the terminal.

The team at the Port of Tilbury provided a warm welcome to the guests and crew of the beautiful vessel.

Richard Exley, Marine and Cruise Manager of the Port of Tilbury in London, adds: “We are delighted to welcome, for the first time, the Seabourn Sojourn to the London Cruise Terminal at the Port of Tilbury.

“The terminal offers excellent transport links to London allowing passengers to see the tremendous sights of the capital city with ease; and is ideally located close to London hub airports making onward travel fast and simple.

“We pride ourselves on offering a warm reception and excellent service to cruise visitors and hope that this will be the first call of many for the Seabourn.”
