– the community organisation and Volunteer centre for Thurrock – held a strawberry and cream tea awards event for the volunteers who have supported them over the past year. The event was held in Volunteers Week, which is a national annual celebration of the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK.
Laura Hudson, ngage Volunteer Coordinator said “Volunteers can make such a difference to many groups and organisations in Thurrock, and we wanted to say thank you for all the hard work and commitment that volunteers have given to ngage, whether it is has been within the ngage office or helping at our events or projects.
“We would also like to extend our thanks to the new Mayor of Thurrock for coming along and handing out the certificates to the volunteers”.
