HURDLERS Hayley MacLean and Khai Riley-Borde showed their class as they both won medals at the UK National Under-20 champs.
Chelmsford AC’s Hayley booked her place for the European Junior Champs with an outstanding first place in the 400 metre hurdles in a time of 58.69 seconds.
To top her day, Hayley was presented with her medal by former Olympic champion, Linford Christie.
Enfield and Haringey AC’s Khai Riley-Borde continued to impress in his first season as a 110 metre hurdler as he snatched a bronze medal with an amazing 13.81 secs.
Both athletes are sponsored by Cedar Hall Osteos of Stanford and Benfleet.
