THURROCK Council has teamed up with the Money Advice Service and named July 2013 its Money Advice month to provide residents with FREE, impartial money advice surgeries on one day each week for the entire month.

Thurrock Council recognises that some of its residents have already been affected by the recent Welfare Benefit reform changes, and these face to face surgeries will provide unbiased, friendly and confidential advice for any money matters including:-

The surgeries will take place at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, Essex RM17 6SL on 4th and 18th July and Ockendon Community Centre Hub, Derry Avenue, South Ockendon RM15 6SL on 11th and 25th July.

To make a confidential appointment call The Money Advice Service on: 0333 321 3434.

Residents who do not want appointments are welcome to drop in on these dates between 9am and 4pm and speak to employment skills, benefits and housing advisers who will also be available on the day.
