POLICE continue to appeal for information following a fatal road collision on the A1306 Arterial Road, Purfleet, which happened yesterday, Wednesday, July 17.
A Ford Iveco van was in collision with an articulated lorry at 2pm. The van driver, a 28-year-old man from Rochester, Kent, sadly died at the scene.
The lorry driver, from Somerset, was uninjured but very shocked.
The A1306 was closed for a number of hours while a forensic investigation of the scene took place and the vehicles were recovered.
