PALMER’S PE kit was shipped thousands of miles across the world to schools and clubs in Nigeria and Ghana.
Sports staff at Palmer’s College donated over 70 pieces of unwanted PE kit which was being replaced following the recent rebrand of the College. Santasi Junior School in Kumasi, Ghana benefitted from 32 shirts and a Community Football Club in Okpanam, Nigeria who received a range of kit which was much needed.
A kindly worded thank you letter from Prince A.Young from the Obodogwugwu community in Okpanam was received by the College last week.
Principal, Mark Vinall said: “Palmer’s College is committed to global fellowship and we are delighted to be able to make this contribution to schools in Africa.”
This is not the first time the College has donated to schools in Africa. In 2010 a number of PCs were shipped to a small village school in Ghana.
