Football: Thurrock produce shock result as they bury Bury

RYMAN One North Thurrock produced one of the best performances of the FA Cup First Qualifying Round where two strikes by form striker Charlie Stimson gave Fleet victory at Ram Meadow after a superb performance.

Stimson opened his account in the fifth minute when Brad Warner took the ball down the left, crossed in for Stimson to hit cleanly on the half volley from just inside the box.

His second came in the second half one 61 minutes when a well worked Thurrock move involving a long ball forward by Loui Hazelwood was brilliantly taken by Callum Ibe who crossed for Stimson to power home from close range.

Overall this was a terrific performance by the Fleet who had a number of chances throughout the match and showed some excellent possession.
