OVER 10,000 parking tickets were issued in Thurrock over the last year.
The number of fixed penalty notices was part of the special report made by the portfolio holder for public protection, cllr Angie Gaywood.
9,323 on street notices were made and 1,597 off street notices were made.
There was a total surplus income of £60,289.
Cllr Gaywood also announced that the six month trial of the CCTV enforcement vehicle (PIPPA) was coming to an end and a review was set to take place.
And how many of these tickets were paid. How many were overturned on appeal and how many haven’t been paid?
