A US POLITICIAN who has stood for president in 2004 and 2008 spent Christmas in North Ockendon.
Former congressman Dennis Kucinich is married to former North Ockendon resident, Elizabeth Kucinch.
Mrs Kucinch was brought up in the village, before going onto to carve out a career for herself in the field of humanitarian aid.
The couple posted a picture of themselves as they attended a Christmas service at St Mary of Magdalene Church
