TWO CHAFFORD boys have earned international call-ups for the England Ice-Hockey team but they need the help of local business. Ethan Boolkah (14) and his brother Jaden both play Ice Hockey for Chelmsford.
The two boys began to take an interest in Ice Hockey about four years ago. They loved ice skating at Romford and after watching an Ice Hockey game the boys were hooked.
Their coaches have praised them saying that they both play and compete at a much higher standard than a child would be expected to.
Ethan also plays for South East and England’s U15 team and younger brother Jaden has also been selected for South East’s under 11’s.
Being so young, and yet talented, means Ethan is looking for a local business to sponsor him and assist with the costs. Training for England means a lot of travelling to the national base in Sheffield.
These young ice hockey champions have had opportunities other could only dream of. Ethan has been able to travel to countries such as Czech Republic and Hungary to compete in tournaments with the England team and will, later this year, travel to Switzerland and Sweden.
