Theft of meat from shop in South Ockendon

coopcantPOLICE would like to speak to this man about the theft of meat from a shop in South Ockendon.

A man walked into the Co-op, in Canterbury Parade, at about 8.30pm on January 6 and selected some meat items from the display before putting them into a shopping basket.

He then left the store with the meat and the store’s basket, making no attempt to pay.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Pc Lee Wayland, or his colleagues at Grays, on 101. Alternatively, call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
