FIRE OFFICERS attended at Hume Avenue, Tilbury after receiving a large number of calls after a fire broke out in a scrap yard.
On arrival the Incident Commander reported that the fire involved six cars.
Using two main jets crews had the fire surrounded by 03:30 and extinguished by 03:51hrs.
