THE Essex and Eastern Counties indoor competition this weekend was held at Lee Valley and Thurrock’s James Pearson didn’t disappoint.
The Enfield and Haringey athlete was entered in two events with the possibility of four medals which is exactly what he came away with.
With a time of 9.22s for the U17m 60 hurdles, James collected a silver medal for Essex and a Bronze medal for the Eastern Counties, while in the U17m shot putt he collected two golds with his personal best putt of 13.06m.
