Grays Athletic 2 v 0 Wingate and Finchley
GRAYS ATHLETIC took another important step towards safety with another assured, confident victory beating Wingate and Finchley 2-0 at Mill Field.
This was Grays Athletic third victory in a week and the nine points saw the Blues rise to 17th in the table, nine points clear of the relgation zone.
It was all over after the first twenty minutes after a goal in the 14th minute by Ruddock Yala was followed six minutes later by another from Danny Bunce.
Grays still have nineteen games to play and so a lot to win, lose or draw but the last seven days will go a long way to secure their Ryman Premier league status.
