THE AVELEY FC family were celebrating a famous double whammy last night after a successful victory at Thurrock Council.
The club won permission to develop housing on their Mill Field site as well as permission to develop a £2.8 million re-location of the club across the road in Belhus.
There were objections. UKIP councillor Robert Ray, speaking on behalf of residents voiced concerns regarding traffic management whilst a member of the Thurrock Model Flying Club expressed his concerns.
