THE FLEET continued their run of fine form as they ground out a 1-0 victory against Cheshunt at Ship Lane.
This result now leaves just eight teams fighting for the two promotion spots available.
But this wasn’t easy and it took until the 75th minute before Thurrock were able to break through with a David Knight goal.
However, three points is three points and this result leaves them in fourth place with eleven games to play.
Next up is Brentwood Town on Tuesday night at the Brentwood Centre followed by another away game at Waltham Abbey on Saturday.
