Tesco rescues school easter-egg hunt

KINDER-hearted Tescos has come to the rescue after thieves struck burgled a school in Thurrock.

The thieves stole 200 Easter eggs planned to be used in an egg hunt by pupils at Chadwell St Mary Primary School on Thursday.

However, Tesco at Lakeside have come to the rescue and replaced the eggs.

A spokesperson for the school told a newspaper: “It was really disappointing for the children but when Tesco, where we had bought the eggs, heard about our plight and generously stepped in to replace them. We would like to give them a huge thank-you,”tescolakeside
