Andy and the bikers ride out again for Lee Rigby

THEY DID it last year and they have now done it this year. Last year, local man Andy Johns and his fellow bikers paid tribute to the fallen Lee Rigby by paying their respects at a war memorial in Thurrock and then a memorial in Woolwich.

Andy Johns on behalf of the ‘Steel Horse Riders’ said: ” We would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Thurrock Council leader, John Kent for his support. The local police for their valued assistance.

“Fishers Florists, Lily On the Lane Florist and Forget Me Not flowers Ltd and all that turned out for the memorial ride to Woolwich.

After one minutes silence, the group then set off to Woolwich to lay a wreath in memory of Drummer Lee Rigby of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, who was murdered in broad daylight in Woolwich on May 22nd last year.rigby2
