Councillor Gledhill thanks his residents

Dear Editor,

I would like to thank all residents of Little Thurrock Rectory who voted for me at the election. This is the third time residents have put their trust in me, and I will do all I can to help improve Little Thurrock and Thurrock as a whole.

There is still a great deal to achieve – a solution to parking needs to be found on many of Little Thurrock’s residential roads; traffic calming measures to stop roads being used at rat runs investigated; pavements and roads need improving, and inappropriate planning applications will need to be challenged.

I would also thank my ward partner Councillor Tom Kelly, the Thurrock Conservative Group, a number of Little Thurrock residents, and a number of Conservative MPs/MEPs, all of whom came out to help me. Some hard battles were fought, and I am proud of the team we assembled here in Thurrock.

I am looking forward to once again working with my Conservative colleagues on behalf of Little Thurrock Rectory to make it a lovely place for everybody to live, and would like to thank my opposition for a good, clean election process.

Your sincerely

Councillor Rob Gledhill
