Labour leader marks out challenges ahead over next year

THE leader of Thurrock Council, cllr John Kent has outlined the challenges for Thurrock Council over the next year.

Cllr Kent stressed that financial pressures continued to concern the council greatly. He also looked at the opportunities for the borough as well, referring to developments in Purfleet, the A13 and London Gateway.

  1. Rather ironic that Cllr Kiley should be in shot whilst Cllr Kent talks about the importance of serving constituents and being there for them!

  2. Even the left wing of the students union describe Kiely as a careerist Labour party wanabee. How do you get a left wing of the students union and he’s obviosuly a future metro socialist stooge, like Polly, if that’s his reputation among his peers. Did Kent say anything interesting. Yawn.
