Old Chelmsfordians 1st XI 135-4
Thurrock CC 1st XI 134-10

Thurrock lost their third game in a row, losing by 6 wickets away at Old Chelmsfordians.
After the winning the toss and batting first, a combination of an indifferent pitch and poor batting contributed to a score of just 134 all out.

Opener Umar Ayub top-scored for the visitors with 27, one of only five batsman to reach double figures, with 24 coming from extras. Rehman starred with the ball for the hosts and picked up deserved figures of 5-30 from his 12 overs.

Thurrock needed to take some early wickets if they were to have any chance of pulling off an unlikely victory. They had the hosts in a spot of bother at 28-3, but only one decent partnership would be required for such a small total and this occurred when Chris Meer (39*) and Robert Wickham (20*) sealed the game with more than 25 overs to spare. Umaad Sultan was the pick of the Thurrock bowlers with 2-26.
