A SERIES of events aimed at young people and families is being organised by Thurrock Council and its partners through the school summer break.
A series of free outdoor Parkour and Freerunning sessions for 11- to 19-year-olds is being organised by Team Traceur.
Due to the nature of the activity, everyone taking part has to agree to sign a waiver form.
All the classes will be going ahead rain or shine and will explore how Parkour and Freerunning is practiced.
However, it is possible meeting points will change should there be severe weather conditions be confirmed on our website as alternative venues may be used should there be very severe weather. Be sure to check this a couple of days before each session.
On Tuesdays between 29 July and 26 August sessions will be held at the Culver Centre, Daiglen Drive South Ockendon (1pm to 2.30pm) and Spider Park, Purfleet (3pm to 4.30pm).
Wednesday (30 July to 27 August) sees sessions at Grays Beach Park (1pm to 2.30pm) and Stanford-le-Hope Youth Centre (3pm to 4.30pm).
And Aluric Close, Chadwell St Mary (1pm to 2.30pm) and Tilbury Youth Centre (3pm to 4.30pm), host the Thursday sessions from 31 July to 28 August.
