St Clere’s student pleads guilty to threats to kill at school

A ST CLERE’S school pupil pleaded guilty to making threats to kill at the Stanford-le-Hope school.

The 12-year-old male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Basildon magistrates court this week.

The court heard that the police were contacted shortly before 9am on Wednesday, July 2nd, and asked to attend St Clere’s School, Butts Lane, Stanford-le-Hope due to reports of a boy threatening two 12-year-old children via BlackBerry Messenger.

The pupil was arrested and charged with carrying an offensive weapon and making threats to kill.

The student was given a nine month referral order.
