    Harrow Borough 1 v 4 Grays Athletic

GRAYS Athletic seem to like their journeys around the M25 as they dismantled a durable Harrow Borough 4-1.

Jody Brown has constructed a fascinating squad and has carefully got the team into a rhythm that all fans, who haven’t seen Grays for a while should come and see play.

Striker Freddie Ladapo looked like he was feeling his way in the first few games but the two goals he scored today show that the former Colchester striker is on song.

Gray fans are also very excited by the skills of veteran midfielder, Glen Little. He won’t mind it, we feel, if fans are starting to call him the non-league Pirlo, as his sense and touch, seem to be on a different plane to other players.

Joao Carlos opened the scoring in the 45th minute. He would have been buoyed by the return of Jay Silva.

Harrow are a durable fixture in the Ryman Premier, as East Thurrock found to their cost last week when they lost 3-1 and sure enough they equalised soon after the break.

But that was until Freddie Ladapo scored in the 67th and 76th minute.

Chris Bryan added a fourth goal in the 89th minute.

The win means Grays are now in ninth place, just three points off the play-offs.

The exciting thing is that you feel there is so much more to come.

Grays are at home to Dulwich Hamlet on Wednesday and then face Harlow Town at Mill Field in the FA Cup.
