HOLLYWOOD star Russell Brand has joined firefighters in pledging his support against proposed cuts by the government.
The former Grays resident joined firefighter at the Sounding the Alarm event in London.
Russell also met with Labour candidate for Thurrock, Polly Billington to discuss the cuts to the fire service.
