Swimming : Kieron breaks British record

KIERON Harris from Thurrock Swimming Club participated in this year’s London Disability Championships held at the London Aquatics Centre.

Kieron, who is deaf, competed in four events. In the 50m butterfy, he achieved a 2 second personal best (PB) 39.18 secs and also broke the British Deaf record for twelve-year-olds.

He also set another two sec PB in the 100m free (1.15.66). Kieron competed in the 50m back and 50m free events and swam just outside of his best times
