    FA Trophy Preliminary Round

    Burgess Hill Town 1 v 0 Aveley

AVELEY crashed to another defeat when they lost 1-0 in the FA Trophy.

The game was decided by a controversial penalty decision in the 48th minute, when Aveley defender Junior Baker was judged to have fouled in the box.

Greg Luer stepped up and smashed the ball past keeper James Marrable.

The Millers had played well up to then and continued to play well afterwards but just could not find a way through.

The Millers return to league action with two tricky matches against Cray Wanderers on Wednesday night and then Needham Market on Saturday.
