THURROCK’S former district commander has been charged with two counts of making indecent images of children.
Ben Hodder, 34, was arrested on suspicion of a sex offence on May 8 this year and has subsequently been suspended by Essex Police.
He has been released on bail to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on November 6.
