POLICE are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary at a house in Haig Road, Grays, where one of the suspects wore a pinstriped suit.
A man entered a house at around 6.10pm via an unlocked back door and armed with a golf club which had been in the back garden.
He blocked the living room doorway preventing the occupants from entering the rest of the house, while three other suspects searched the building. The man wore a mask covering his face and told the victims he would not hurt them.
A woman and three children were in the house at the time. The men stole two mobile phones and an iPad and a three-figure sum of cash. No one was injured.
The man with the mask is described as being white, 5ft 10ins tall, wearing a white mask with a tear under one eye, a dark blue pinstriped suit including a waistcoat and a pink ties with the word ‘Baileys’ just underneath the knot.
