FIRE CREWS were called to a house after a number of chimney pots and roof slates were reported to be in a precarious position.
The chimney pots had come loose from the roof of the building in Parker Road, Grays.
Crews used an aerial ladder platform to remove the disturbed brickwork and chimney pots to make the building safe.
At 21:04 hrs, work continued at the scene.
The incident was dealt with by 22:17 hrs.
