Aveley 3 v 0 Burnham Ramblers
THE Millers are having a topsy-turvy season but nevertheless, they go into Christmas on the same number of points as the team in the final play-off spot.
Two goals by Spencer Harrison (12th and 53rd) plus a final strike by Theo Ola saw the Millermen outclass the plucky ramblers.
Burnham really didn’t look like a side who had only won three games all season, they looked good going forward but just didn’t have that cutting edge.
Harrison’s header was all that separated the two teams in the first half but he took his chance in the 53rd minute to put Aveley out of sight.
Millers topped off their win with a sublime third goal. Theo Ola picked the ball up and from 30 yards out he let rip, much to the delight of the Aveley faithful.
