Teenager left requiring twenty stitches in face after attack in Grays

    POLICE in Grays are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a 17-year-old boy in Clarence Road on Sunday January 11 at around 7.30pm.

    The victim was left with a cut to his face around four inches long that required over 20 stitches. Two white men were seen to run off along Clarence Road and then down Stanley Road.

    A 26-year-old man from Grays was arrested on Sunday January 11 on suspicion of GBH with intent. He was questioned and later released on police bail until Tuesday March 10.
