TICC is looking for a new Chair of the board and 2 Trustees to join us at this exciting time in their development.
A spokesperson said:
"We have been running for the past 4 years, holding a street festival for three of those (we didn’t in 2012 due to the Olympics).
Our major goal is by 2022 TICC to be established as a recognisable brand in the creative and cultural industry, valued by members of the local and wider community
Plans are underway for the 2015 street festival, but we want to grow into more than just a festival, we want to be promoting events all through the year.
We are in a stable financial position with a reasonable budget for next year, but we want trustees to help us grow our funds into more money to do bigger projects.
For our chair we want someone who is:
• A Thurrock resident
• Passionate about community arts
• Entrepreneurial
• Prepared to look at things differently
• Fresh to the political scene
• Committed to alternative monthly meetings and conference calls
• Ready to roll their sleeves up and drive change in Thurrock
For our trustees we want you to be:
• A Thurrock resident
• Passionate about community arts
• Supporting and developing change in Thurrock through the arts
• Bring specialist skills or local contacts – accounting, technology, local business groups, social media, fundraising, potential sponsors etc.
