POLICE want to identify a woman who was caught on CCTV at the time that a man had his bag stolen while he was in the HSBC Bank at the Lakeside Shopping Centre in Thurrock.
The man had left his bag unattended while he was in the bank between 4.40pm and 5.10pm on New Year’s Eve. The suspect had entered the bank and taken the bag, containing £50 worth of cooking oil, while the victim’s attention was elsewhere.
Anyone who recognises the woman is asked to call PC James Stanford in the Lakeside Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
